PSAT - Thursday, October 8th

The PSAT will be given to all students in grades 9-11 on Thursday, October 8th. This test will qualify juniors for the National Merit Scholarship as well as prepare all students for the SAT. The PSAT is also used to measure student academic growth. Please remind your students of the importance of the PSAT and have them arrive on time with a fully charged Chromebook.

  • On October 8th, our seniors will have an e-Learning day. Teachers will communicate with seniors regarding their responsibilities.
  • Last week your student received a testing ticket that allows them to log into College Board and take practice PSAT exams.
  • Big Future App Poster

The school day will start at the normal time of 7:35 and testing will start by 8. Testing will finish at approximately 10:30 am. Students with testing accommodations will finish at approximately noon.

After the PSAT

If you wish to have your student dismissed after testing is finished, please email an attendance secretary. Our secretaries are Zorine Pusara, Melinda Drake, or Jamie Mroz.

Lunch will be served to students who remain in the building. After lunch, students will finish the day in a study hall setting where they will have time to study quietly.

NOTE: Many students choose to have their parents call them off after the test. Please communicate with our attendance secretaries if that is what you would like to do.
