Crown Point High School broadcasting students will produce live television coverage of the Bulldogs' football matchup against Valparaiso on Friday, September 26. The game, airing at 7:00 PM on Marquee Sports Network and streaming on the Marquee Sports Network App, is part of the network's Community Showcase program.

The partnership between Crown Point Television (CPTV) and Marquee Sports Network offers students an educational journey into professional sports media production. Throughout the 2025-26 school year, CPTV students participate in monthly virtual workshops led by Marquee professionals, covering play-by-play announcing, data-driven marketing, live event production, and sports network operations.

"This opportunity represents what we strive for in our broadcasting program: real-world application, professional mentorship, and the chance for our students to showcase their talents on a major platform," said Chris Gloff, CPTV teacher and adviser. "Our students have been working tirelessly to prepare for this moment, and it's a great experience for their futures in media and communications."

Crown Point students will handle all production aspects, from camera operation and graphics to play-by-play commentary and a short half-time video. Students have completed technical training, signal testing, and coordination with Marquee's professional production team to ensure broadcast-quality standards.

In addition to watching at home or online, Crown Point restaurants Station 21 and Square Roots have confirmed they will show the game Friday night.
