Change to '21-'22 Calendar

September 28, 2021

Dear CPCSC Families,

Supporting student success is a priority for Crown Point Community School Corporation. To provide the best learning experiences for our students, we must invest in the professional development of our teachers and staff.

CPCSC will be adding two distance learning days to our current school year calendar. On these days, our teachers and support staff will be participating in planning and professional learning sessions.

On Wednesday, November 3, 2021 and Tuesday, March 8, 2022, all CPCSC students will have a distance learning day. Students will be learning from home these days. Teachers will post Buzz agendas in the morning that explain the activities and learning goals for students. Students will not have any “live” sessions via Zoom. Teachers will post information about how/when to contact them for help and when they will be able to respond during the day.

Please remember that Thursday, October 14 is already scheduled as a distance learning day only for elementary students in order to accommodate parent teacher conferences.

On scheduled distance learning days, elementary child care is available at Eisenhower and Jerry Ross from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Our preschool program, Bulldog Buddies, will be closed these days.

Thank you to our families for understanding that providing training and support to our teachers is critical to also supporting our students. You can find the updated 2021-2022 calendar at this link.
